Draw it out on paper. You can have any combination of series parallel you want as long as it is SYMMETRICAL (don't put 3 coils in series paralleled with 2 coils in series, etc.) Example: 6 subs with dual 2 ohm voice coils (12 coils total): You can have 12 coils in series = 24 ohms (6 coils in series) paralleled with (6 coils in series) = 6 ohms (4 coils in series) paralleled with (4 coils in series) paralleled with (4 coils in series) = 2.67 ohms (3 coils in series) paralleled with (3 coils in series) paralleled with (3 coils in series) paralleled with (3 coils in series) = 1.5 ohms etc. Just use the nominal impedance - D1, D2, D4 0.7 and 1.4 are the DCR and should not be used to calculate your impedance.
