Don't know about fi but on theirsite it say 14 days to build so I'm guessing plus shipping time and I've read sometimes they take a while

On dc I order once from the black Friday sale they had place the order on Sunday night right before it ended and I got it the following Monday so built time was 4 days shipped 2 days

And I know it's only a 2 day ship from Reno to my house cause I've order other stuff

the reason the build time takes two weeks, is because your woofer does not exist before you order it. it gets built completely from scratch once you do place an order.

Two Skar ZVX 12s would work, here is something I just did quickly in Torres based on your external dimensions.

I am sure someone else could come up with better but this should work for the ZVXs and they LOVE the LOWS.

should've written it says 14 days cause they machined their baskets

I just didn't cause I assumed he has visited the fi site and read it

Don't know much about them if you do

What's the difference in building?

I know how dc does it

Just curious

its not just the baskets that makes it take two weeks. they build the entire motor from raw materials. they cnc the pole piece, heat sink (if applicable), bottom/top plate, etc etc.

yea ive seen other people post how they have been waiting 4 their fi subs for over a month

thats ok im not really in a rush

i want my entire install done by the end of march

i have a good deal pending on (2) fi ssd 12"

but i think 1.2k dc on each will be too much power and a waste of potential....

the ssd's say 1k rms but id be scared 2 push anything more

the Q makes me feel safer with 1.5k

but it does not look like any fi 12" will fit well in my car anyways

4 days for dc u say?

hmmm

**actin bad like a kid at six flags**

Fis are beast they are ur best bet... yes you will wait longer than rusty..... but he's assembling subs... fi is machining the motor nd then magnitizing them.... and finally then building your sub

Both dc and fi/aa are great products!

Fi audio Q hands down best choice said in this thread..... SSD's could handle the power... ask fox racing he has 4 4500s on them

the fi Qs give you a chance to upgrade power too

No shit? new found respect for FI, thats awesome, totally drooling over the N312's, but that sub is definitely not for daily listening by looking at the specs
