JR2011bu
So new year is coming that means new toys coming in... Already had a nice setup in the Bu however i had to sell my amp, subs, and batts to cover expenses after our daughter passed... First build didnt really take any pics i figured i would this time around. Let's start with the HU I picked up a Pioneer AVH-P2400BT at a steal $130 so i couldnt pass it up... Pulled out the old HU ( JVC KD-BT1) sunday night and wire my C2R-GM11 harness o the new HU... Then the next day i went to autozone and bought a 12v Relay to do the brake bypass. Sorry didn't get pics of that but what evvs. afterwards i went to a local shop and bought a double din dash kit and 20 minutes later in the parking lot Vualahh!!! After that i got home and started putting the box together. 3ft^3 at 30htz. Already had the wood cut so just started glueing and driving some screws through the wood.. Oh and i live in an apartment so no garage or workshop just a storage and a small patio haha more coming... JR2011bu
Then I got the sub mocked up in the top plate, only to realize that the measurements on the website were a bit off, so i made a second baffle later on haha.. And a few pics of the amp to be pushing the sub.... Only one of these going in ... So the equipment to go in is as follows New 15" Z v.3, Crossfire C5 1700d, C&D Tech Ups 75AH Batt, Some more SHOK wire.... For now it already had the front stage and rears from the previous build and that was pretty much all i kept... along with the single run of SHOK 1/0 to the Rockford T400-4... Let me know what you guys think Under Construction 2011 Malibu 1LT 12k DDM Tuning HID's 55W Soundstream 6.5 components(front) Inffinitty Kappa 6x9's (rear)
JR2011bu
Also that port is made out of 4" PVC pipe, i heated it over a metal bowl and applied pressure to create the flare.... Definitely harder than it looked on youtube hahaha...
