The engineer over at alpine stated that a .55 cubic foot box would be best for ported boxes. I dont really know what to tune the box tune except for maybe 30Hz? I plan to run the subwoofer off of a rockford fosgate r250-1d rated at 295w rms, and a harrison labs fmod 30hz inline rca subsonic filter. It says that the subwoofer can play all the way down to 28hz on its frequency response.
