I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. zaxfire69
Hmm well, anybody on here know how to install an alt on an acura integra? Uh Yeah. It isn't as simple as you think. Alternator has to come out from the bottom. You have to partially pull out the driver side axle. Remove alternator from Bottom. Put new alternator up through the bottom. Put bolts back in alternator, put axle back in then tighten your alternator bolts back up and put your belt on. It is fun, but with someone that knows a little about Honda and Acura motors it can be done. Go to Autozone and pick up a HAYNES repair manual for your Model Acura and get to reading. You will be amazed at what you can do with one of these. Here is your manual. Go to autozone and become a Honda/Acura mechanic!! http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,39120/...g/selectZip.htm Edited January 30, 2008 by zaxfire69

zaxfire69
As long as he doesn't have to take a dremel tool with a cutting wheel like I did to his Nut that holds the axle on, he should be ok. I HOPE!!!

Texas Tech
i looked on an Acura Forum and some people claimed they did it without coming from teh drivers side panel at all, they took it out from under the car just like that. I tried to do it the "faster" way and i ended up stripped the nut that you have to unscrew, so i took it to a shop. The nut was extremely tight, i couldnt get it off at all, i even used a pipe to extend the length of the socket wrench to get more force, didnt work. If i would have taken it to a ship in the first place i would have saved time, and a lot of stress. I did have to call up a lot of different shops though, this Acura/Honda specialist shop wanted to charge me over 100 bucks for this job.
