amp tuning help!

I have a JBL GTO 7000.1 mono amp 700 wattsat 2ohms and 425 at 4 ohms. its running a Powerbass M series 12" SVC woofer 375 watts rms 4 ohms. what is the best way to tune my amp for the sub?

I love these gain questions.

You have 2 choices

dd1 / oscope and do it right.....

Or

Tune by ear and hope for no magic smoke......

Point is a trained audio file SQ judge ear can hear less then 5% distortion...

Normal people can ear 3-10% distortion

You can see 1-2% distortion on an oscope (depending on variables)

Dd1 will detect less then 1% distortion indefinitely.

Hint tony d amor has a video showing an oscope vs a dd1 when the track fluctuates from distortion (imbedded in the track) to a clean dignal. Oscope looks the same through out the track... But the dd1 finds it.
