Voltage questions !!

first thing you should ever do when you have a stereo, is the big 3. no ifs, ands, or buts.

it will help with the drop, but it wont solve it. you're still going to have voltage drop since the amp is pulling more current than the alternator can generate.

if you want to completely solve it for good, get a new alternator.

if you want to be able to play for slightly longer than you can now (before dropping that low), then get a new agm battery, or a second one.

Big 3! And connect the voltage meter directly into the amp to see exactly what the amp is getting.
