I know I was worried about it pinching as well, there's plenty of space between my door and the dash, and the rubber seal around the door lets it get through easily. Applying deadener, driving out to target, testing what would rattle, then driving back, rinse and repeat. Also got some rubber weather stripping seal from Advance Autoparts and lined the edges of the trunk lid with it and now the trunk doesn't shake nearly as much and doesn't leak any air whatsoever. Only put up a 142.5, sounds a lot louder than that though. And it peaked at 30hz. Did this: Then I scored a used Redtop from a friend at Advance Autoparts for $60. Not the ideal battery, but it will work for now. Redid the amp configuration. Box doesn't vibrate, it's carpeted, and I got some feet on the amps. So vibration issues should NOT be an issue. Box was also pushed back a couple inches. I redid all the sub speaker wire with some AT OFC 10 gauge too. I love my EA Alt. It's a 200A model. Drop to 12.6 at idle and then at 1k rpm I hold a steady voltage, don't even drop by .1. I'm impressed that it can stay on since my car idles so low.
