Was pretty much a direct drop in. Had to cut some plastic out of the factory mounts to make the cutout diameter wide enough. The motor literally rubs the window when it's all the way down. Was the perfect fit, lol. Sound nice though! It sticks together nicely. I'll probably have an issue with the glove box. But.. Fuck it. Lol. This was the only way I could lay out the speakers, literally the only way. I guess if you NEED to get in the glovebox you can just pop the passenger door open... Inconvenient but hell, how many times do you need to get in there..? So does adding some fiberglass to bond the two halves together affect how the whole piece fits to the original door panel.? I suppose you might have to account for that. I just sanded down the back of the backplate, sanded away all the cloth, excess resin, hot glue, etc. It bonds to the very edge.
