Hifonics amps?

I was looking at these amps and saw that they were pretty cheap and was wondering if they perform good? I have a HDC312 sub and was wondering how the brutus brz1200 would perform at 1ohm thanks

There are plenty of threads on this . I am a Hifonics fan. The brutus is a good amp for the money and will deliver rated power. If you can step your budget up that woofer will handle the 1700 with no problems

Ok I was thinking the same thing but the website says the soundqube is stable to 2ohms does it handle 1ohm ok?

That's when you strap them, alone it's 1 ohm stable, hence forth, why it's rated at 1200 rms at 1 ohm

I actually went from the Brutus 1700 to the aq2200 and it was night and day. Amp couldn't handle the hdc12

Amp couldn't handle the sub?..

I ran that sub off a CT sounds 1400 @ .5 ohms and it took all the power easy. Give it 2000 RMS and it will be happy.
