I did the same exact thing just as a precaution and following a suggestion from someone else that said it was a good idea on pioneer headunits for some reason. I also grounded the case to the frame nearby.

CoritaAlterado Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 How about you try to ground your dist. block to a bolt in your trunk, like one of the bolts on the trunk hinge. Just make sure to sand it down to bare metal if you do. That might give you a better result.

That might give you a better result. so find a good spot in the trunk to ground the distribution block?? and eliminate the run of zero gauge to the main battery or add another ground from the distribution block to a good ground in the trunk??

I also grounded the case to the frame nearby. u grounded the deck to the frame of the car or a spot in the body of the car??
CoritaAlterado Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Well before you take the 0 gauge out, i'd try different spots, just to see the results. Then after you're happy with the results you can take out the 0 gauge if you'd like. What kind of car is it?
CoritaAlterado Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 I wasn't able to find good picture of the interior of that car, but you should try that idea about looking for different bolts and seeing which give the best result.
