Could you pm Mr details about the amp...and ill check out the skar. Are this sundown 8s any good then. I just thought because of my space restrictions having 2-3 of those sundowns would out do a single or a pair of tens.

how come you WANT to be heard outside your truck? you should be happy about how it sounds when you're on the inside, not the outside.

everybodys definition of "pound" etc, is different. for me personally, you'd have to be in the 150's for me to think its "loud". a guy down the street may think a single 8 on 100w is loud.

Yea I agree everyones preception of loud or pounding can very greatly. I just want when I crank the tunes the block to hear it. I know with just a pair of tens or a few 8s its probably not going to wake up the block but you get the idea.

I've told others the same thing and I'm gonna tell you: This is what gives our hobby a bad name. Don't be "That guy" who is at a stop light pissing everyone off. It's people that wanna be heard for blocks that make people hate what we do. Furthermore, you've got an itty bitty cab, you're not gonna get earth shattering bass with the space limitations you have.

Measuring your loudness from how many blocks you can be heard is a pretty douchey way to go about designing your system. I don't mean to be harsh or blunt, but the outside world doesn't care for guys with that mentality.

ok maybe that came out wrong.....i was using that as a.....i guess figure of speach. i just as much as the line of cars next to me would like not to hear some ones dub step rattling my mirrors. i specifically said when i crank the tunes for a reason i dont normally cruise around with it blasting i just want as much bang as i can get. I would say I am not "DOUCHY" for wanting a loud system. i didnt mean to come off as "one of those guys" i know i have a small space to work with thats why i am asking for opinions. my Itty bitty cab is probably the size of most trunks and most can get some decent bass from that. here in about a month i will no longer need the passenger seat but would like to keep it. i am still planning a blow through or something along those lines.

Now if we can get past the whole block hearing me thing one of my buddys just offered me 2 fosgate punch p-2s and a p-3001 for $150.00 even if i only use one and sell the other does any one have an opinion on the bass quality and "loudness"
