Foolproof 1/0 Gauge Soldering

I do just this with some regular rosin-core cut up and dropped in a 1/0 lug. Works a treat.

Would silver solder work for this method?

Can't say, I'm not sure what that's for. I don't solder anything so I keep a spool of Radio-Shack solder for when I need to and it serves me well enough.

I believe it has the best conductivity. But basically still solder

I just crimp those connectors. Stick the wire in, pump the handle a couple times, heat shrink. Done :D

I have one, looks like the same exact model. They work quite well.

Most cables i just solder though. If its in a place i don't want to risk lighting anything on fire, ill use the crimper. I usually lay down a few scrap pieces of MDF and hammer away inside the jeep :D
