Mojo Man Miller Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Sub is mounted normal, but when the sub hits it is inverted? if that helps, And also, how would this sound: 4 subs total, 2 are hitting normally, and the other 2 are (wired?) invertedly. so i could have a cool looking set up? if that sounds right... (Noob btw...) it wouldnt be nearly as loud.... all of the subs need to be firing in the same direction to create pressure and make bass. if 2 are firing out and the other 2 firing in the not near as much pressure is being made... YES! this guys got it... so i would be losing bass? so to say... if it were a regular box, yes. now the one you posted a video of is a different story. its a bandpass, which can be crazy loud if done right... what that box done in that video was more or less make those 4 speakers into 2. some bandpass orders can get confusing real fast. http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/My car: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160564-2000-camaro-2-mojo-12s-videos-up/#entry2314594
herbykw Posted January 26, 2013 Report Posted January 26, 2013 OP, do you mean something like this? The polarity of the inverted subs are reversed. Still plenty of output. 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834
