Trying to get my gains with a dmm. just wondering what how many watts rms is my amp getting with a sub wired @ 0.75, and what should the output voltage be?

Youll need a clamp meter bro, not a multimeter

.75 reactive? Protect, if not - magic smoke most likely.

.75 nominal? No one knows. Box rise and voltage play a key role here and they can vary significantly from install to install. I wouldn't be too concerned in a daily car

Well I figured there was a formula which could give me an idea of how many watts I was getting on 0.75 ohms at 14.4v. Since I can't go by the specs for 2200 @ 1ohm which would be 46.9vac.

Decreasing the nominal impedance doesn't change how you set your amp with a DMM, Oscope, DD-1, or any other method.

Why not just keep your settings where they are now and wait a couple days for the DD-1?

I forgot about box rise, your info is very much appreciated!

I do always maintain great voltage.

You can use a multimeter... OP, set the gain to 40.62 volts.
