My suggestion, if your only running 10k, use xls. You dont have enough power for fives, also they are not reccommended for 4th orders, without changes to the subs. And by the sounds of it. You might not have the experience to know what changes to make.

I have a 7.5k and was planning to do a 4th order also. So would you guys suggest not to use the level 5 m2s or would they be fine?

Personally based off what mine is I'd suggest 1.75 to 2 cu per driver sealed

I want you to say out loud what you just typed, and think about it for a few seconds.Lol I realize how dumb that sounds but I meant it differently. Like for example, my 4th order for my sp4 is flat from 25-45 and as it reaches 50 is gets a lot louder and then falls off to about 55-60hz.

When you said response in the original post, you mean frequency response.. right?

Frequency Response: "measure of magnitude and phase of the output as a function of frequency"

If it gets a lot louder at 50hz, then the frequency response is affected. 50hz would be a peak in frequency response, which is an increase in magnitude. If you draw out the sine wave, you'd understand.
