The D7500 is a lot bigger than your Kinetik you currently have, but it would give you plenty of power for sure. Without having a HO alt I would say you need to have extra capacity to pull from, so a bigger battery is going to help you out a lot.

What was your voltage falling to with the 5100 and kinetik on the 5k?

i dont have the 5k yet ill run down the situation i guess you can call it....

First i had 4 tens running at 1 ohms with just the kinetic the amp does 2400 at 12v and 2700 at 14 and i was dropping into the 11's at full tilt.. so i never ran that with the 5100..

Then i reconed the 10s to 12s and got 2 more so now im running 6 12's at 1.5ohms same amp so im running even less watts. but i will be getting another one of the amps i have and i will be strapping them..

With the kinetic and 5100 im dropping to around 12.6 where the batteries rest well i know the xs battery rests there not sure about the kinetik.

I did move the ground so it might be a worse ground then what it was when it gets warm i will be moving it directly to the frame...

I will be getting a H.O alt its just that out of the 4 companies i contacted 2 only can do around 180 amps and the third i can get 180 250 and i think it was 350 ( can't remember and i dont have access to the email account the email is on. ) And the 4th didnt have one for my car... not sure which one im going with due to funds being extremely low at the moment...

So thats where im at at this moment
