def loudness Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Is it wise if l've got a second battery in the back to run a second 0ga (negative) back to the under hood neg post on the battery?..I currently have big 3, but back battery neg is just bolted on chassis. If I ran it back to underhood battery neg, would I see a volt difference?
michigancapri92 Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 yes !! your electrical still has to work its way to the front of the car ... if you have the back battery grounded to the back it relies on the car body to work its way up which can consist of just small spot welds ... sooo if you use a full 0awg run the electrical can easily get back to the front of the car!
