I shoved pillows and blankets back there literally as far as I could to give me an idea so I don't just go in this thing blind. Looks like there are air leaks coming from the rear strut towers behind beauty panels. Might need more foam then I thought. But it looks like zero air is coming from my rear deck Sealing off this weekend with Dre, I will be using very light paper and maybe some smoke stuff from party city to help find leaks. I want this thing as close to a bank vault solid as I can get it! Lol. But I'm trying to make a build I'd be proud to have all of those detailed pics on a build log and KNOW its done right. I'm just doing the best I can with decent equipment and hoping to be a nice, clean, daily driver that can still get loud when needed. I like to introduce people to bass and show them its not a "ghetto" or hood thing. That its a respectable hobby and I want the older guys to see how clean, well done, and nice it can sound. And for the younger croud I want it to tickle their ears just enough to get them hooked to bass like we are. And also being able to beat on my stuff daily and not worry about it! Keep posted for pics this Sunday! Build SHOULD be done this Saturday. Ill be uploading tons of pics too. dont cut yourself short. just cause i have DD doesnt guarantee me to be loud. I started from 140.6 and now i made it up to 146.1 sealed last year. its tough no matter what trunk car you are in. just takes tons of testing and tweaking and $$$ but thats why i stuck with trunk cause i would not ehave enough funds to do a wall build in a truck or even a car they way id want to do it. im excited to see it done. im glad you are doing it the right way and not cutting corners. great minds think alike!!!
