newb
I have a panasonic 7.1 surround system. I am having trouble getting the sound to match the picture on t.v. the sound is like 1 sec later then it should be, I have my cable box hooked up to t.v with an hdmi then a optic cable from t.v. to surround. Is there a better way of hooking this up?
audiofanaticz
try hooking the hdmi up to the receiver, then use a hdmi output from the receiver to the tv.
KMS
Your tv should have a setting called AV Sync or something similar. Set it to on and see if that helps. Alpine PDX-V9 Morel Tempo 6 Alpine SBR-S8-4 Alpine CDE 149BT
sphinxbccp
Couple things, is it a cheaper optic cable or HDMI? Sometimes that effects it. Also does the surround have 1080p pass through? If it does then hook the source straight to the surround then from surround to the tv.
