drumminian Posted July 12, 2010 Report Share Posted July 12, 2010 love the box man, how would you think a set up like this would work in a car? my problem with box tuning is I listen to a lot of dubstep, c&s shit and a lot of rap; to be able to change my frequency like your able to do would be pretty ideal. me having a two door car with a 15 that takes up my entire trunk how do you think a set up like this with the ports coming into the cabin? or what would be a better soultion? Since you have 1 15", I'd go with like 3-4 3" PVC's. A little math later you can figure out what you want to tune it to. Look for Amatt85's calcuator, that's what use. I know you can get 8 15's in a Bronco II!!!! Put some subs in that bitch! LOL! Shit, sealed Maybe. LMFAO yeah that!! What the guy before him said! I got a dillema, sort of. All ports open for 39hz and it'll slam anything from 36-52hz loud as fuck. Can go to Volume 16 on Zune before they bottom and it doesn't start to clip until 18-19. Sometimes 17 depending on frequency If I drop tuning, the subs still want to bottom out hard, can only go to about volume 14-15. So I've come to the conclusion either: 1. More motor force to handle the power. I.E. Cone Area. 2. Better subs that have the suspension to handle the power. 3. Shrink my box even more to like 5-6 cubes which will fuck tuning all up. Wat do?
