Skater229
Well here is the latest... (Pics moved to the top) The box have both voice coils wired to the outside to changes the ohm load with out removing the subs Looking to build an amp rack to hold both the RF and SQ amps and also hide the wiring. Need to pull the box back out and glass the inside due to having a few air leaks... Still have a few touches to do on the doors but for the most part they are done... Still need to work on the power system... Looking to upgrade the stock alt with a 240amp and also put a second battery in the back... I have installed 1/0 from the batt to the alt and ground... Not shown in the pics but the amp has been hooked up and basic tuning has been done... It is LOUD and once the air leaks are fixed am sure I can do some minor pressure tricks... 2010 Chevy HHR Panel (Work in progress) Pioneer AVHX-5800BHS McLaren MLM880's and MLT2's 2ea per door on a DC 175.4 Two DC Audio M4 Level 5 15's On A DC5K Alt CES 200/270+ 4ea Banks of Maxwell 2.7v 3000f caps for a total of 2000f 1ea XS 3100 and 2ea NSB FT170 Batts for 450+ah Not a HUGE build but here it is... Skater229
Well the DC's made it here in record time... It is almost like they were flown in by charter... Anyways they made it from drop off on the 24th to my hands here on the base on the 27th... Still trying to figure that one out... The sundowns have been pulled from the box and the DC Level 3's have been put in their place... Here is a side by side view of the old (left) and the new (right)... Will get pics of them in the box and also some video of them playing... Now I need to work on the electrical side of the house... I have 1/0 cable to install from front to rear but just waiting on some fuse blocks and fuses I bought to come in... The next thing on the hit list to buy is an alt seeing that I was dipping volts and don't want to over tax my stock system too much... Want to say many thanks to the DC Folks for getting the subs to me really quick... I was thinking they were going to be a another few weeks before I got them in my hands... And you caught me slipping cause I was planning on getting more things ready...
