4.2l trailblazer shutting off while driving

Recommended Posts

Hi i know many ppl on here has TB, have any of you guys come across ride continuously shutting off at low speed or acceleration? as i come off the gas pedal the rpm dips low n back up, as i step on the pedal the truck hesitates like and sometimes dies out completely, but starts right away. everyone says clean throttle body but honestly seems like the problem began after i cleaned my throttle body. HELP before i get rid of this defect on wheels!!

Mine did that when I turned on the A/C but sorted itself out after a while. Took it to a dealer and they had no clue what it was.

He said the problem occured after he cleaned it.

Guess i should read the whole post first.

Your issue sounds like the throttle body issue. Id go back and make sure everything was put back right. Did you disconnect the battery or pull the fuse to reset the pcm?

Sign up for gmtnation.com and ask those guys there. They are very helpful

the only thing i can say to tr to help to diagnose a little further is when its about to die throw it in neutral and rev it..... if it dies something else is wrong.....let us know here. also try cleaning the idle air control valve

i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it

Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks.
