I have a Hifonics Hfi 1500 on my Fi Q18, im looking to buy something a little stronger but dont really wanna spend over 400-500. I know that i wont find many amps for that price but my sub is dual 2 ohm and rated for 3000rms. Any suggestions on amps in this price range.

The SAZ-1500D would fit that RMS for wiring to 1 ohm

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

That's still 147% of the RMS value. Do you have the extra cooling added to your sub?
