scarykds01 Posted February 5, 2008 Report Share Posted February 5, 2008 i have a question i have 2 alpine type r 15s in my crown vic with a mtx ta 7801 mono block amp not sure of the rms wattage but they hit pretty hard. BUT i just got a audiobahn a2300hcx 2ch. im not a big fan of audiobahn but i have heard these amps are tight. i know its hella big but that means nothing. i was told that it is #1. 2 Ohm Mono: 1200 X 1 Watts RMS 2 Ohm Mono: #2. 2400 X 1 Watts RMS @ 1 ohm. but my subs are dual 4ohm and i dont know how to wire them at 1 ohm. should i stich with the mtx or just run the other? any positive advice appreciated.
