Manufacturer training/discount programs are the only thing I miss from my year and a half at Best Buy. Watch a few videos, answer some multiple choice questions, and save up points until the summer and winter sales. It's where I got both of my 6970's as well; direct from AMD for $170 a pop.Anyway, back to the thread. I really don't think it would be worth any more for a Haswell version (once it launches) seeing as Intel will likely only charge $0-15 more as stated. If the only things changing are the motherboard and processor then the only reason the price should go up is because the price of parts goes up. Asus currently makes the best mITX board and it hovers around $200. If they make a socket 1150 version (they would be wise to considering the recent popularity of the form factor) and it costs more and that's the board you go with then I can see reason for a price jump but if it's the same price (which it should be) and the processor is only $15 more I can't really see it warranting a higher price. I still think you would either have to use less expensive parts (motherboard, SSD, HDD, RAM, etc.) to cut the cost to ~$2500 or do something unique (case and lighting) and charge $2800-$3000 regardless of whether you wait until Haswell. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 .
