why not use vinyl??? its glossy, it does not fade. easy to apply, and you will get an even tint all the time.

and its not expensive at all

If you could do this i would suggest it... I did my escape with vht i had to sand tail lights with 800grit 1000grit 2000grit 3000grit wet/dry sand paper. Then i had to wash it real good. Dawn dish soap worked good. I did 3 light coats of VHT after it dried i sanded with 3000grit, washed again with dawn soap. Sprayed 10 coats of clear coat let ir dry then wet/dry sand with 1000grit 2000grit 3000grit. Washed it off again with dawn dish soap. After it was dried i used a polish compound then wax. It was a lot of work and now going to be buying new taillights, Smoked leds though
