sakataj Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 so i started a few years ago with a Re audio XXX 12" powered by a HCCA-25001 powering my sub and HCCA-10004 powering my component and those amps SUCK. i went through 7 total in 2 years before the shop finally bought them back and replaced them with a RE audio amp (i forgot the model for the component amp) and a XTX5000.1 Re Audio amp for the sub (now after owning this for 1.5 years (nothing has been in the car for a year now so i used it maybe 6 months) i really am starting to notice its underpowered. out of the 2500 watts they claim i think i might be seeing maybe 1800-2000 but i want a few suggestions on throwing some more reliable power to this sub. car has a Pioneer Avic-Z140BH headunit,Diamond Audio D662 Front Components,Diamond Audio D662 Rear Components,RE Audio XXX 12" in a fatboxusa box, 2 batteries a hc1800 underhood and a hc2400 in the trunk, a iraggi 320 amp alternator, big 3 (i did a big 5 since i had extra 0 gauge around) so i can make power i just need a amp that produces more power. the options i looking at are Sundown Audio NS-1 DC Audio 5.0k or 7.5k Soundigital SD5000.1D or SD8000.1D RE Audio XTXMT10K or any amps you'll can suggest that might be cheaper and reliable to make the power i need to power this sub efficiently? im not really thrilled to spend another $1000-$1700 for a amp since this is now the 3rd and hopefully final audio rebuild to this car. thanks guys.... If you want to buy one of those amp´s create a thread in the want to buy section. Stay away from the Sounddigitals, Sounddigital is gone/closed, so you get no customor service.
