I got degrees, experienced at an executive level and the best I can do is a ten bucks an hour answering tech support questions. Im just lucky I had invested in a 401k, the company had a retirement plan for me, I purchased lots of stock after watching the rollercoaster of its price over the years to supplement my income. I cashed all that out and put in a savings for use. Never mind the severance package. I consider myself somewhat lucky, however I didnt expect to go this long, 5 months with nothing close to what I was getting in pay, not to mention benefits.
