As far as battery goes maybe some treated wood!? I could fab one up out of MDF I suppose but I would like it to look nicer lol maybe something like this:

Since mine broke today I will be looking for a new one at home depot tomorrow. In the meantime It would be nice to contact Dremmel to see about a warranty replacement. Just don't tell them you bought it for work and they should replace it bro, I had a cool customer service rep tell me to always say I bought it for home use and they would replace it lol. And this is why I'm nice to anyone providing me customer service, even if it's in a fast food joint lol.
