I too appreciate left and right seperation. You can adjust front and rear by adjusting gains but left And right is huge especially for rock and other music that goes side to side with different instruments on each side and all. I couldn't live with a mono highs set up.

hey carbon if you want left and right sound then you should just wire the 4 speakers one per channel as if they were the 4ohm versions rather then 8ohm.

the amp will put out very little power at 8 ohm per channel but atleast you wont have to rewire it when you get the new 4ohm speakers in. so that's 50w per speaker for now and then 100w when you get the 4 ohm speakers in.

or just say fuck it and wire them bridged like stated before to get 140w per speaker and don't worry about getting the 4ohm ones.

Im figuring out where I want to place everything in the car.

What's wrong with the doors? I wouldn't even put the super tweets that high those things can be harsh as hell. I agree with Scott man I get you want to be loud but you're asking more questions that someone building a 5K wall should be asking. I just want to see some damn pics of an actual build happening.

Are you really wanting to run your sound stage bridged. Im not positive about your amp specifically, but most amps out there go to

MONO when you bridge, meaning you've lost your music in Stereo. Me personally, I like my music to sound like it has left and right separation. Im assuming you would like to add well. Wiring impedance should have been something you looked into LONGGGGG before ordering speakers and trying to "make it" work. You should have ordered 4 ohm speakers rather than 8. I remember there being an issue with Crescendo sending wrong ones, I would not even wire the ones your using now since they are temporary.

You can wait for the right ones to come in. Let's be honest, you're not gonna have this thing up and running before those new mids ship out to you

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but shouldn't he still be seeing both left and right if this is being run as a 2 channel amp? It wouldn't be a mono signal cause you'd be feeding left signal to one side and right signal to the other side.

Carbon, for instance, if you ran 2 sets of RCA's, the left sides of both sets would go to Channels 1 & 2 and the right sides would go to Channels 3 & 4. Then you're running it as a 2 channel amp. You would hook up your driver doors to Channels 1 & 2 and passenger door to Channels 3 & 4. If you're only running one set of RCA's then split them at the amp, "Y" adapters, so that the left is split in two going to the first 2 channels, and the same with the other side.

Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I've experienced with my 4 channel amps when I've bridged them.

Where are the build pics? All I've seen is a bunch of talk, and some equipment pics. Maybe I missed them, but just doesn't seem like much building going on.

I'm with dre too. WHy put them up in the pillar? You're running 2 6.5's and some tweets? You can easily fit those in the doors. That's where I'm putting my 8's and tweets.

i guess not totally sure. but iirc, when you bridge any channel on 4 channel amp it takes mono signal from whatever the inputs are. i guess i dont have first hand experience but remember, bridging is combining both channels. where does each channel get its signal from. a left and right rca. so when combining you would think that it would combine power and the signal.

edit: i think if you put left input on channel 1 +2 RCA and right inpout on channel 3 + 4 RCA you could probably get seperation
