Jessica Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 So here is the list i sent him, trying to keep cost down but still have some good sound. He's not going for an SQ build, just wants something that will play fairly loud and have some bass. for your front doors $89 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_19507_Rockford-Fosgate-Power-T152.html For the rear deck $69 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_19508_Rockford-Fosgate-Power-T1682.html Amp for the mids $95 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23877_MB-Quart-ONX4.60.html Amp for sub $238 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34764_Rockford-Fosgate-R1200-1D.html This Sub $194 http://www.amazon.com/SA-12-D4-Sundown-Series-Subwoofer/dp/B003ZWBG7Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361565489&sr=8-1&keywords=sundown+sa-12d4 I told him to get the D4 sub so he can add one later if he wants and then wire down to 1 ohm, this way he will be giving one 800, or two 600. And rockford tends to underrate amps anyway and that is a good price for a 1200 watt amp i think. I sent him a list of wire and parts and pieces he will need. What do you guys think. It's going in a 94 mustang, so it will be a trunk build. Also, i know i will catch some flack on using an oval speaker, but i think it's best just to keep this build as simple as possible and use direct fit speakers. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work. Jessica Posted February 28, 2013 Author Report Posted February 28, 2013 Woah, there are replies here. I forgot about this thread. First, thanks for the feedback, and i agree he could go with a 1200.1 instead to save a bit of money. I hope he actually goes through with this and i get to build a box for him and help him install. Sorry about the text, on these forums if you copy paste it pastes the text color, so if someone is using a different color scheme than me the text shows up weird.
