Twigz
I have 2 MMATS DHC 1400.2 Modded amps to push out 3000 rms each, i'm looking to get 6000 rms or more out of them. I'm looking for a battery thatll be able to provide my amps with full power. HC600 $199.00 Details HC800 $229.00 Details HC1400 $349.00 Details HC1800 $369.00 Details HC2000 $399.00 Details HC2400 $449.00 Details HC16V $449.00 Details I wanna go with Kinetic, but the prices are a bitch. Should I go with two HC800, or just one battery like the HC1800? I'm kind of on a budget still paying off my car. anyone got any ideas? also, 2007 Chevy Cobalt, I think the stock battery is in the trunk next to the spare? some one clerify that for me I haven't checked yet. The Alternator should be good enough I can't afford a new one atm. right now my budget is like $250. Fear The Quack! Shot at 2007-08-
n8ball2013
big power takes big batts man. One big one is a little more than two of the smallest ones. Add in the buss bars or wire and connectors its going to take to bank them together and you are at the same price as the big one. one will also give you less fussing too. something is wrong you have one source to check. You get a bad battery with multiple batteries you have to take things apart test indvidually and go from there. get where im going with this. n8ball2013
also your stock alternator is going to be raped with that much power on it. My advice is to save it up and do it right. You are going to want that big boy alternator. Do it piece by piece it took me the better part of a year to piece together everything I have now. hell and its not even in the car yet.
