ccmotox99
completely disagree. The more that my friends and random people ask for demos, the more interested they are in it. I feel like if more people were actually exposed to car audio, more and more people would enjoy it. -playing with different setups

Kevin M
All these people from Wisconsin on this thread haha. My sister just moved to Chicago a week ago and seems to love it. I'll be coming up there from Arkansas this summer some time. Maybe I will get to see a different way of car audio up there.... Or just sit in her apartment because she has no idea where anything is yet. send me a pm and well meet up and I can give you a list of shows and you might be able to hit one. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
TheJesseHoward
It's booming in Flint Mi, literally. I just wish the audio shops around here were better and took more pride in their work, you can see the lack of caring in most of them and they are just in it for the $. 35% front, 5% tint rear/windshieldKenwood KDC-152Knu RCA'sInfinity 6.5 kappa perfects1/0 Knukonceptz power/ groundBig 3 in 1/0Kinetik HC 1400 in rearCustom slot ported box @ 35 HzNVX JAD 1200.12 Sundown SA-12 Double layered NVX Audio Deadener FUTURE BUILD: -2 Sundown Nightshade 12's D1 w/ Zv3 softs (HAVE) - DC 3.5k (HAVE) - 2 pairs of Skar RPX 6.5's, Skar RPX 6x9's , 4 Skar audio Bullet Super tweeters ( HAVE ) Undecided on box, amp(s), HU, and power supply.. and vehicle for that matter. Having just really gotten into car audio withing the past year. I still haven't heard anything then a single 12" sub running on 500w (anything else has been the low end installs by our local shop). And if I was blown away by that I don't want to know what it'll be like in a car with a real system. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
