revoracing247
hey guys, im about to go get my truck's emissions tested and for some reason i'm really stressed about it. i've never done any emissions tests before and well, my truck half the time hates to idle and i know i have a small exhaust leak up on this stupid tube that comes off the manifold to some vacuum thing or something. i really need to pull the manual and look at what exactly that is, but anyways. is it super easy to fail an emissions test? a couple months ago i hooked a computer to my car to see if i could figure out the idle thing and well no codes were being thrown but if i remember right my emissions was on the yellow light. i guess im just wondering if im over stressing about this and also if there's anything i can do to help it. tomorrow morning or tonight im gonna see if i can fix the exhaust leak. edit: f-ing fords man I think you have a bit of truck stuck in your mud bro ~Ford Ranger, ext cabKenwood DDX4701/0ga stinger wiring for big 31/0ga ofc flextech wiring 3 kinetik 800's AQ2200 @1ohm Sundown Audio X15 in a 27Hz tuned ported box LE BUILD LOG!!! sully
don't know about WA but in TX you can have two sensors down and still pass as long as you don't have a CEL. Us a scanner to see what is causing your amber emissions reading cause it may be as simple as one of the sensors is not ready 2003 Ford F-150 Reg Cab layin body on 26's 2003 Tahoe 3/5 drop on 26's with a 408cid Supercharged engine. 2011 Camaro 2SS 2005 VW GTI Stage II ECU, CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, lowered 2" on some plastidipped 18's 2003 Hayabusa lowered, stretched, cams, nitrous and custom paint
WastedTalent
every state is different and every county is different. sometimes even different testing stations are different. So... my advice? google for your area and see what's up. Sheena = pedobear
