12" pioneer ts-w3004spl not loud??

Okay i have a 97 blazer 4dr with rockford fosgate 8002 and did have two sony xplods gtr 12;s with the sony aerport in box and they was loud and would make ur shirt shake from the air being pushed and after 3months i blew them and got two pioneer premier spl 3004 dvc 4ohm and had to wire them at 4ohm too amplifier and they are in a 1.0cft sealed each box and arent loud at all lots of xmax but thats all.. what should i do? bigger amp of course and ported box?? please help me here becouse im tempted too get my old box back and buy new sony xplods lol

at least they would flex windows and make wipers jump around on windshield

I would deff start with a ported box and go from there...

if you arent getting much output and alot of movement, make sure you wire the subs and coils up correctly. Sounds like you have things wired out of phase.

Get a decent 2K RMS@ 1 ohm amp and build something such as this:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 34 Hz
Vb = 3.2 ft^3

External Height = 16 in
External Width = 35 in
External Depth = 18 in

Port Width = 3 in

* All Dimensions in Inches.
* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

Back = 35 x 13 3/4

thanks for everyone responding too this, it has too be that im using a sealed box thats ony 1.0cft each sub and underpowering them, Im hopeing there not half blown or something they have nice shiney copper voicecoils so they must not been pushed hard before i got them for 150buxs for both with the little box, what would yall reccomend for amplifer? Ive not got much money for a nice nice amp but would a hifonics work? I want it too be loud as it can be with what i have

a very small sealed box will choke a subs output drastically

so if i just build a good box like joe x showed me will that make big difference even with just my little rockford fosgate 8002? im not sure if i got subs wired best way possible too the amp ive got them wired down 2ohms each and wired a channel per sub not bridged becouse amp wont go 1ohm just 2ohms, just hope i didnt go wrong on the subs for the money

Is what i got and the sound is unbelievable in just a crappy box like mine.. but now all I need is a custom built box like the one above to finish off. But problem is I have a Toyota celica with boot hight of only 13in. Hey joe x any suggestions for dimensions for my boot? Would be much appreciated!
