need some help with box design

So I ordered 3 e8v3 subs and a brz2100.1 to run them. I have tried Torres, and RE box calculators but they just don't have (or I don't have lol) the ability to set this up for me. If anyone has the software and doesn't mind helping, it would be hugely appreciated. The dimensions I am looking at are 17" H, 38"W, 11" top depth and 15" bottom depth. my goal is to run ports up/subs up. I am shooting for 32hz tuning, and it is going in a hatchback.

RE box calc keeps trying to put the port on the side of the box that I don't want it, and Torres keeps giving me errors about the port being too complicated on the cut sheet portion.

I have seen some really awesome designs come out of these forums, so hopefully someone has the time and is willing to help. I appreciate anythingyou guys can do .IMG_0284.jpg

I've never had torres give me the sheet cut for the port. It may have a couple of times but never noticed it. I just design it up myself.

Give me a bit and I'll mess around with it.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

First off you don't need all that space. I came out with this for torres.

I left room for bracing later on.

If you want me to make a quick sketch of it I can.

awesome, yes if you could make a quick sketch that would rock. Thank you

Do you have to have the port firing up? If you could make it fire from the side it would make the design much more easy to build.

Or firing forward

Firing from the sides doesn't seem like a good option since the box will be very close to the side of the car. Firing towards the back of the car could work, but may interfere with my amp rack plans. The sloped side will be towards the front of the car and the flat side towards the back.

Would it possibly simplify things if we made D2 and D1 both 11"? That cuts the space down a little bit but seems like it might simplify things while still staying within sundown's posted specs. Thoughts?

Okay I had to made it aero ports. They are firing to the side but to fire from the back just make it turn back there.

Box looking from the back with the back wall off.

Once again to fire from the back just add a joint to make them face that way.

I appreciate your work tremendously! Is it possible though to make the depth (d1 and d2) 11 or even possibly 12 and still slot port up with subs up? Was really going to try and stay away from round ports if at all possible. If there are no other options then I can go with the round ports.

I am getting sooo excited lol. I go to SC to play golf for 4 days on wednesday and when I get back they should be here and i can get started hehe.
