Sky Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 Wanting to get some input from f150/truck owners on where they've had the best results placing subs in a truck cab. Like either under back seat, custom center console, removing middle or a part of the back bench, or even the blow thru route. It seems almost impossible to get 2 12s in a center console or under back seat. A blow thru just seems sketchy to me. I feel like taking out part of the back bench would give me the most room to work with. 99 F-150 Build Log
T.A.G. Audio Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 I have 2 12s in my super crew 03. Just click on my build log below to see. They are sitting in the back passenger seat folded down diagonally. Surprisingly they fit quite well. But if you have the regular cab I would do a center console. You could probably do 2 12s in there with some hard work and designing. 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... sweendog Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 It depends on what you want to do with your truck. Under the seat if you want it stock, center console if you need back seats, or take the bench out if you don't need the seats and want to get loud.
Sky Posted March 4, 2013 Author Report Posted March 4, 2013 I need my back seat. I'm wanting to lift the back seat enough to put 2 12in sundown z's but I'd probably have to rig up a huge lift to get that to work. 99 F-150 Build Log
