ok guys i'm doin a 5 page research essay on bio-ethical issues and i've chosen to do human euthanasia. for yall that don't remember dr. jack kervorkian who helped people commit suicide if they were terminally ill. so i've decided to do a poll and wat better place to come to than smd to get some help.... if you want any more info bout this before you vote plz ask and i'll try to answer the best i can. i would rather you be educated on the subject instead of you guessin on the poll so i can get some accurate results...

Im for it, if someones that ill then who can really say I know how you feel, they might say pull through it life is always better but theyre not the ones struggling to live everyday.

Its cool that Jack got brought up I live about 2 blocks from his famous apartment.

I am for it as long as the person who is sick is mentally up to making the decision, and it is their decision alone, as in doctors should have no influence in the decision other than a purely informational source.

ok well oregon is the only state that has legalized it, you have to make 2 verbal requests each atleast 15 days apart(so you actually have to think twice about it), and then you have to make a written request, then your physician has to consult a second physician. then a shrink has to make sure that you are mentally competent to make a decision like this. but in the end you must take to drugs yourself. the doctor can't even be in the room when u take the meds....
