ToNasty
That's because all the videos are of the "race" mufflers with no cats I hate that sound. Extremely sloppy ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Miguels
yeah one sounded like it had no back pressure at all. needs a bigger engine for that pipe he was running my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
CleanSierra
So have you decided on motor? You've taken cathedral port heads out of the equation with that intake choice. 350-450HP will be very easy to achieve depending on your parts list. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

ToNasty
Carved do sound good but need a resonator. They are basically a "bullet" or "race" muffler. I think they are near miguel to. That would be awesome as well of you like loud ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
CleanSierra
And I know it was mentioned on what a stock bottom end can handle but the numbers you guys were using were conservative. I've heard 900-1000 on the crank(depending on the specific motor). The stock cast connecting rods are your weak link. Forged rods and you don't have to worry about the bottom end until you're deep into some UP. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. CleanSierra
Which throttle body are you going with? Aftermarket cam is a great idea. Stock grinds will lose you horsepower until you're north of 5K in the revs. Most GM cams will lose over whatever the stock one came with until the high revs kick in. To me it wouldn't be worth the loss and low end grunt. Do you have an aftermarket flex plate idea yet? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
