I have had good luck with these myself. most people may disagree with me however. one of my friends had the AC5000d and had it tested i think it MAY have did about 1200 rms @ 1 ohm. 99 HONDA ACCORD EX COUPE1 American Bass HD15-D1 ~ THE PLAN- ? bgowdy31
i mean i dont think the big bangs are bad for the price. but of course there are better choices. i was just saying if he really wanted planet audio to go with the bb2400 99 HONDA ACCORD EX COUPE1 American Bass HD15-D1 ~ THE PLAN- ? sbg
^^ yes vary power hungry, I have had 4 bb2400s over the years. I like them and are good amps IMO. For 244$ new u get good power out of them. But yes if u have $500 for a sub u should look in to a more top of the line amp. If your set on planet audio the rx line and the ap line both do rated power to, other then them all the other amps they make suck. 01 focus se 110 amp alt Big 3 sky high and stinger hpm ofc 1/0 Super start platinum AGM (starting) 2 runs of 1/0 Execution audio front to back Kenwood double DIN DDx271 A pillars- orion 4" super tweeter and 2-1" alpines. bgowdy31
onlly big downside with the bb2400.1 is that it really power hungry so you have to do a huge electrical upgrade compared to aidk aq 2200 or any other name brands at that size ^^ yes vary power hungry, I have had 4 bb2400s over the years. If your set on planet audio the rx line and the ap line both do rated power to, other then them all the other amps they make suck. see now i never seen mine to be power hungry. i ran mine on a stock alt about 100amp, 1 POS stock battery under hood and 2 POS standard batts in the rear. wired at 1 ohm at idle while playing full tilt i would drop to about 12.4v. no thats not really awesome voltage but it was at idle on a stock alt at that. at 2k rpms i could hold 13.1v. 99 HONDA ACCORD EX COUPE1 American Bass HD15-D1 ~ THE PLAN- ? CJSmith
I wouldn't do it. Just save your money and buy a better used amp. It pays off in the long run. *Rebuid in progress*
