sphinxbccp
Mine leaked really bad with the last set up, a couple cans of expanding foam from the inside took care of that tho, if you do it be careful, too much and it'll come through the outside and look terrible! fullthrottlejunkie85
today i went ahead and took everything apart and filled the rear side vents with greatstuff lol and removed the little flaps and then took back tailgate apart and added in sound dampening as best as i could reach they have two metal skins molded together so i put two layers on and and some on the panel itself on the inside corners and around hatch striker and door handle and it helped a good bit still some rattles now the rattle moved too the back passenger doors lol i could press in on the sides and stops so may just adjust doors tighter with striker adjustment.. big thanks for idea of expanding foam on one issue thanks sphinxbccp Quote ----------- no more blazer------------- New ride 2000 s10 ext cab xtreme zq8 v4a 4.3 jba headers,pcm4less tuned,nv3500 5spd,8.5" diff,ported/polished heads makes good daily driver not a racecar lol system: pioneer 7200hd deck, kenwood kfc708 with jl xd400.4 stinger 2gauge wire mtx thunder 1501d custom built box myself ported 3.13 slot port 40hz (2) 10" re audio sexv2d2- may do sxx upgrade soon after tune the sex first kicker 4x6 cs dash. sphinxbccp
No problem! For your doors, it might be the actual door panels. The Christmas tree clips wear out and rattle, you can get more for pretty cheap. Also if you buy some foam tape (one sides adhesive, in stores by the insulation) and put that where the panels touch the door, it stops panel to metal contact and puts pressure on the clips to help stop those rattles also. Meade sealed the glass on the Tahoe. I think he used the same stuff that keeps your windshield on.
