port for the l7s

sealed for the p3s

Does not have to be easy removal just removable without car damage.

What would you recommend?

A removable box for 2 15's or 3 12's is going to be kind of hard to accomplish. Are you thinking ported or sealed?

What are the dimensions of your trunk and what all equipment are you to put in it? ie.. batteries, caps, amps. Have to consider all of that when pulling measurements. But from the sounds it you want to be louder than your last set up so I'd go with the L7's in a ported to be louder.

if you want to be loud on a budget. look soundqubed (audioque) or sundown or possibly crescendo used. most of those amps will get you loud even if you get them used they will be fine. subs. 2 12s or a 15 is going to be good for you. maybe 2 10s. make a big efficient box. and as stated before. spend the rest on electrical ie. battery wiring possibly alternator

Good luck doing anything removable for more than 2 12's in a proper ported box. I had 2 12's in my 01 Sentra and could barely get the box to fit in through the trunk or the back seat. When I went to 4 12's, sealed, the box had to be built in the trunk.

He was taunting me. He's all like "come at me bro!" So I'm like "I'm coming at you bro!" And he's like "hey, fuck you" *chomp*. Then I killed it. I win.

^^^ you have truly taken being a lazy fuck to a new level tonight, an MRE. WOW

Ok from a quick search sa12s are 600w rms needing about 2ft^3

SO

2 sa12s wired to 1 ohm

Saz-1200d

Ported box around 4ft^3

My total trunk space is arond 11ft^3

would 2 15" l7s be a huge increase?

if you can fit 15s go with SA15s. but can you slide a 11cube box into your trunk or is that internal dimensions?

for example. my trunk is 14 cubic feet total but i can only slide a 6.73 cube box (5 cubes net) into the trunk through my backseat.

getting a box in vs how big your trunk actually is are 2 different things. but if it were me id do the 2 SA12s or similiar product 12s.

Kicker recommends like 3ft^3 each for the 15" L7. There are a few great companies that make 12's that would do a much better job then the JL's you want to improve upon.
