Natsuru
Ok, so some of you probably saw my thread where the Boss subs burnt up and diedWell, the first of two E-15s has arrived in the mail todayAll I can say is, damn sonThese things seriously weigh twice as much as the boss ones, and every little detail about them is amazingAlso, it came with a free decalAnyways, i'm sure lots of you have seen videos and whatnot of E-15s hitting in the low 150s and high 140s on youtube My question is, is this unusual for them, or they actually this capable of subs? Are the guys in those videos putting insane wattage into these poor things, or is it pure RMS wattage?Any input would be appreciated, i'm going crazy waiting for the other one Quote 2005 VW Jetta TDIStock headunit(2) Sundown Audio E-15s @ 35hzPower Acoustik BAMF 1250.2 (will be replaced with Cadence mono)GTMat 50mil Sound Dampener http://natsurutech.blogspot.com/

purplesyrup
that video /\/\ he had that powered on a sundown audio 3500, even if it was wired in 4 ohm, it was likely getting at least 1,000w clean RMS

Polish
I seen those E's do those high numbers when given insane amount of power Like Skip01 here fed 1 E15 on a Sundown 3500, and did a 148 in his explorer I was eyeing these for my next subs, this pretty much seals the deal. That is crazy for a single entry level 15"! Quote PolishSpec My website07 Fit 15" American Bass XFL- Build Log

They are 10's though, not 8's but still just $24 subs (got them on sale at Amazon). I will keep these around until I can at least get them on a meter in the new 4th order, hopefully sometime this spring.
