larrys95civic Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 By tuning with the DD-1 you insured that they will last a long time. People who usually shop at wal-mart/best buy don't care about clipping the hell out of their stuff and so it usually has a short lived life. That's why a lot of those types of brands get a crappy name, plus if you care about your car you don't want to be caught with wal-mart subs lol Team Superior SPL Former Installer at Driven Sound & Security http://www.drivenss.com All kinds of forsale threads http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164247-amps-subs-and-misc/#entry2383262 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164430-polk-audio-sda6000-sound-bar/#entry2386634 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164279-3-michael-kors-watches/#entry2383983 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164549-more-items-from-storage/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/166967-dd-9518s-amps-kenwood-custom-explorer-dash/ If someone is feeling generous I'd love an original sig LOL
R.j. Stanford Posted March 17, 2013 Author Report Posted March 17, 2013 Honestly, im only 16 and what I have beats the shit out of every other kid at my highschool, they all have boss amps and ssl subs, such a shame theres not many young bass heads around me
WillPwn4Food Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 The kicker subs I heard sounded alright. Real punchy. The components I've got from kicker were trash. Blew them in like 2 weeks. That's why a lot of those types of brands get a crappy name, plus if you care about your car you don't want to be caught with wal-mart subs lol I agree with that Larry. I mean, of all the cars with bass, they mainly have walmart type stuff. They don't care about clipping, about their stuff lasting, just want to drive by and be that obnoxious douche. But us on here, we care about quality and such. Kicker is actually pretty good, it's just those people who don't care, make us all look down on it basically. If people actually cared and such, I think it'd have a better reputation. Sheena = pedobear
R.j. Stanford Posted March 17, 2013 Author Report Posted March 17, 2013 Had my components for a year and a half no problems ^.^
