My skar subs are making a squeaky/ whinny sound when there is no music playing at all. I was told that i needed to ground my pioneer head unit in order to stop this. Any insight??

sounds like the pico use. wrap a wire arund the rc preouts on th hu and then ground the wire to the hu chasis.

you can google pioneer pico fuse fix for pics and vids.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

wrap it around all the rca outputs (be sure the wire make contat with the rca strip the plastic off)

find screw on the hu that you can loosen up and the wrap the wire around that

tighten the screw down and your done.

google search it for a vid, there are plenty out there.

well first, you should never pull the rca's out while its powered on. that is one of the bigest reason the pico fuse inside the hu goes bad. if i was you i would still try it and if not check all the grounds for you amps, batteries, and alt.

Yeah I never knew that about RCA's either. I used to pull mine out with my old HU all the time when I was checking stuff, I never came across a problem. Maybe I was lucky.

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha
