First of all, let me state that this will be a looong build thread. Most pieces in this build will be done piece by piece. Some things may be ordered together when money allows, but for now, it's piece by piece. Also. with my truck, i just bought. it will be getting some attention to.

This build is going to be done right, and right the 1st time. No going back and adding the big three to make my lights not dim or stupid shit like that.

The scheduled plans as of now for the way the build will unfold is as follows.

1. Upgrade cranking battery.

2. Upgrade Alternator/Big 3.

3. Two runs of 2/0 power/ground.

3. Gut car, and sound deaden.

4. Alarm with 2way pager. (Undecided)

5. Build Carputer.

6. Begin buying speakers, amps, & woofers.

7. Box build will be very similar to Meade's before theft install.

Basic Rundown of what will be going into the car are.

1 Kinetik 1400 up front, 2 Kinetic 2000's in the trunk, & a 200a Alternator.

Second skin entire car. Floor, dash, doors, roof, trunk, & trunk lid, everything.

Run the 2 runs of 2/0 power/ground.

Alarm install.

Complete Carputer

2 IA 20.1 @ .35 load per woofer. 2 Fi Audio 15BTL dual .7ohm all options, Custom enclosure @ around 8cuf after sub/port displacement. Isolating the trunk from the cabin with front firing subs, and port glassed into the spair tire well.

The mids/highs are undecided upon at this time, but whatever it is will be powered by a Kicker KX800.2 running at 2ohms, on 4 sets of components.

I am open to any suggestions anyone may have at this time.

As of today, the very first thing on the list has been completed. The new battery, So without further adieu, here is the 1st phase in "Project Civic Go Boom".

Kinetik 1400 is in. Note that the terminals on there now are just temporary as the stock ones were too large to fit over the posts. At the next phase of this project which is Alt/Big 3, these terminals will be changed.

Also, I RMA'd my kicker 800.2 that will be powering my comps (still undecided on those). Should have it back in aroud 2weeks, then I will be ordering my alt. (Granted I don't buy anything for the truck)

Nice start.

I hear good things bout those batts and so small. Stock Civic/Group 51 location and that's 1400 ca or cca?

as for advice...maybe make sure you've checked out Steves "before the theft" build of his civic although from the box design (isolated/trunk spare tire port) sounds like thats your model/blueprint. I couldn't blame you tho- that civic took more than one trophy from me Down at infineon raceway.

Keep postin pics- i'mma follow this for sure since I have a 2 door civic build comming myself.

The box will be very very similar to steve's old install. I've been studying his pics he has online for a while now. I also requested some from him. I believe the 1400 is just ca, and not cca. Specs on the website arent too detailed. I dont have anything audiowise to relate this to, but the car cranks so much faster than it did on the 700a batt.

Also. My car is a 4door. Exact same as Steve's, but i have facotry installed auto locks/windows. and a few other "luxuries" if you will.
