SnowDrifter Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 Subs aren't blown? RCAs didn't come undone? No connections loosened themselves anywhere? ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
ric006 Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 Check speaker impedance to see if tinsel of something broke on woofer have you ever smelled a burning smell
MD7786 Posted March 22, 2013 Author Report Posted March 22, 2013 No havent smelt anything burning and could my sub blown? Doesnt sound like any sub ive ever blown. Could i have burnt one voice coil and it still play?
MD7786 Posted March 22, 2013 Author Report Posted March 22, 2013 And would it still bumo with one rca in??
Guest Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 each voice coil should read around two ohms...since you got the d2 option. unhook all speaker wire and check impedance of each coil individually.
iROCKtheFOSgate Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 check the leads also when you take them out [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:2273]
MD7786 Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 Ok so I checked. Rcas are in good both sides. Speaker is good on ohms. Idk Wtf it could be.
