bigger box question

Okay so I was gonna have a box built that is ported tuned to 32hz with about 1.75cubes per sub because I have a single cab truck. Now I have a sealed prefab box that is about 1 cube per sub.

My question is, would this be worth the money to have one made?

I can't make one myself because I don't have the tools or the knowledge either to do so.

Any advice is appriciated, thanks.

Yes it is

Depending on subs and power

Not all sub are made for ported

And many people through a tonn of powe at sealed and in ported encloser that's same sub maynot b able to take it

Also as long as the is to spec for that sub

Yes sorry i had cvrs but i kept blowing them with the amp i had Hifonics Bxi2010d not very surprising though as the subs were only rated at 400rms so i decided i was gonna get two sundown sa12s if it ended up being worth the money to build the bigger box also this is in a 2000 s10 single cab if that helps any

also, the amp is 2k rms at one ohm which is what ill be running the subs at

Also another question, what would you guys say would be best to have it tuned to for daily music and also be able to hit the lows good?

I like 33hz

i like 34hz, i had a 10" in a 1.45 cube box tuned to 34hz and it slammed for what it was, in a s10 too

Well what are prefab boxes usually tuned to? the ported ones just curious to have an idea of comparison?
