The BL shouldn't be a sloppy sub by any means, why aren't you happy with the way it produces lows?

Haven't put the enclosure or sub in my car yet. had some repairs to deal with. and someone wants to buy the bl, so I figured it would be a good chance to get a sub more oriented towards the lows. I know the bl can get really loud though, I've heard some local

So untested and unheard, you already want to change your build, when your box was SPECIFICALLY built for a specific sub? Just put the brakes on and LISTEN to the BL before you go making unknown

changes.

it was built around that sub. but it actually models better with an ssa icon then it does with the bl

The Bl is a 15" Fi produced 1500 Watt sub, it will rock the piss out of the lows. It's not some High Fs burp only sub, it's definitely built for music

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Throw your model out the window. In a vehicle with cabin gain it is not on paper anymore. Lot of factors that make the sub and enclosure perform differently than on paper

this is where "lows" is too general and I apologize if my initial post wasn't specify enough, but i want to kill the 24-30hz range. I know i put 25-35 before but i care more about the mid to high 20's.

alright. well if the bl doesn't sell then It will be going in the car next week. I'm confident it will do well in the enclosure, and get loud. I was just thinking there are some subs that would drop lower in the same enclosure.

Give the Bl a chance at least, it's a LEGIT sub. Enclosure design is more important than anything else, in my opinion. A sub will only do what you asked it to do.
